LaunchGood is the clearest example of what a long-term technical partnership can produce. When we began working with them, LaunchGood was an early-stage startup with a crowdfunding idea and a small team. Over 12+ years, we helped design, build, modernize, and operate the engineering systems behind one of the world's largest faith-based giving platforms — now serving communities in more than 100 countries.

Our work touched every layer of the platform: payment processing and donation infrastructure, search and discovery systems, mobile applications, Kubernetes deployment architecture, data warehouse, analytics platform, and AI-assisted operational tooling. The platform processed $873 million in donations — all on systems we built and maintained through multiple generations of scale.

As LaunchGood has grown, it has continued building out its own internal engineering organization. That transition is exactly what successful technical leadership should make possible. We helped build a platform strong enough — and a team capable enough — to carry it forward independently.

Civic Technology

The problem: A civic crowdfunding platform connecting local governments, nonprofits, and communities needed its architecture, search, and analytics to keep pace with a growing network of civic partners — while maintaining the reliability that public-sector clients require.

Our role: Lead architect across multiple years of sustained platform ownership. We rebuilt core platform architecture, built search infrastructure, delivered analytics and reporting systems, and automated deployment workflows.

The outcome: A platform that could expand its network of civic partners without the operational fragility of its earlier architecture.

Sustainable E-Commerce

The problem: A mission-driven sustainable commerce marketplace was growing its catalog and customer base faster than its platform architecture and payment infrastructure could support reliably.

Our role: Platform architecture leadership, payment systems design, product catalog infrastructure, and cloud deployment. We made the technical decisions that let operations scale without proportional increases in fragility.

The outcome: A commerce platform that could grow its product catalog and transaction volume while maintaining the operational reliability the business needed to earn customer trust.

Lyrics2Learn

EdTech platform built from the ground up.

Education Technology

The problem: A novel approach to literacy instruction — using music and lyrics to teach reading fluency and phonics — needed a technical foundation that could support both the learning experience and the measurement of outcomes, across web and mobile.

Our role: Founder-architects of the platform. We owned the full product: strategy, software architecture, mobile applications (iOS), phonetics and language-learning engine, content management system, and educational analytics.

The outcome: A technically differentiated platform built to sustain a novel instructional approach — with the analytics foundation to measure and prove its effectiveness.
